  3. Jumbo Dominique,
my name is Cia. I am a Summer Learning Journey blogger who will be working with you over the summer break.

Your post about Mexico was very informative. I love the way you organised your information into a list to make it easier for the readers to read. I had no idea that Mexico had 31 states and no official language, very interesting indeed. I for one would have thought it would be Spanish since it is the main language spoken in Mexico.

Maybe next time you could include some awesome traditions they celebrate in Mexico, because they have so many colourful and vibrant festivals that are filled with wonderful costumes and traditional Mexican foods.

I remember when I learned about Día de Muertos (day of the dead), a holiday where Mexican people celebrate all their loved ones who have died by praying for their spiritual journey and providing offerings of food and Marigold flowers to honour them. Do you know any other famous holidays that are celebrated widely in Mexico?

You’re off to a terrific start Dominique, I’m really looking forward to reading more of your blog posts over the summer break!

Toe feiloa’i fo’i ('See you again' in Samoan),

    Cia.
